“Zavičaju, tebi” – New music video is out! Did you watch it?

When you have great artists like Juraj Zigman, Elvis Stanić and Mia Negovetić in one county, combining them in one project is a real challenge and inspiration. This was done by recording a music video for the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County song/anthem “Zavičaju, tebi” (“Homeland, you”) which promotes the beauties of the area and historical heritage, which are certainly the Frankopan estates, connected through the project Cultural-tourist Route The Routes of the Frankopans.

The music video that connects the rich past of Frankopan family with the beauties of the green-blue county was recorded at eight locations of the Cultural-tourist route The Routes of the Frankopans – Drivenik Castle, Old Town Ledenice, Castle in Krk, Stara Sušica Castle, Gomirje Monastery, Severin Castle, Nova Kraljevica Castle and the Franciscan monastery Košljun.

The video tells the love story of Ana Katarina Frankopan and Petar Zrinski, which tells the story of all women from the Frankopan family who, with their femininity, beauty, strength, mind and skills, significantly influenced the lives of their husbands, children and even people.

The song is performed by a young musician Mia Negovetić, who embodies Ana Katarina Frankopan in the video. Her acting partner is acting student Petar Baljak in the role of Petar Zrinski.

In the video, Mia Negovetić wears five gorgeous creations by Juraj Zigman, specially made for the occasion. Each of the creations contains motifs connected to Zrinski and Frankopan families, so we find the motif of a former 5,00 kuna banknote, portraits of Ana Katarina Frankopan and Jelena Zrinski and a farewell letter from Petar Zrinski. Medieval associations dealing with the preservation of Frankopan heritage (Club of Friends of the City of Trsat, Zrinski-Frankopani Drivenik and Frankopan´s Guard Grobnik) also took part in the video.

The video is directed and produced by a creative duo called LUMIER production. The author of the lyrics and music is Ante Pecotić, and the new arrangement was made by Elvis Stanić.

Take a look and enjoy!
