We thank all elementary school students who participated in the quiz “F as Frankopan” by Mario Kovač and in the creative workshops of Margareta Peršić, activities through which we renewed and refreshed our knowledge of the cultural and historical heritage of our region. We would also like to thank the teaching staff of the schools for their help and implementation of this fun and educational story as part of the large project of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Cultural-tourist route The Routes of the Frankopans.
The results of the students show systematic and quality work, which indisputably proves the high percentage of accuracy in solving quiz tasks and the wonderful works created in the workshops, inspired by Frankopan stories.
Unfortunately, the current situation related to COVID-19 has affected the whole world, including us, and forced us to organize quizzes and workshops online in some schools. We thank everyone who adapted their teaching to this way of communication and did everything.
Since larger gatherings are not allowed, unfortunately we are not able to hold a joint closing ceremony and show all the wonderful works of the students in one place and find out the overall winner of the quiz. That is why we decided to give each school a symbolic gift that will remind them of our Frankopans and that heroes have their end, but stories about them – no!
