Today, in the newly renovated Interpretation Center in Grobnik Castle, a presentation of the new interpretation centers of the Cultural-tourist Route The Routes of the Frankopans was held.
As part of the project, eight castles received new content in the form of modern multimedia interpretation centres that are, with its theme and interpretation, closely related to the site and its historical significance related to the role of the Frankopans in the area. These are the interpretation centers Krk, Bribir, Kraljevica, Bakar, Grobnik, Trsat, Čabar and Brod na Kupi.
Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Prefect Zlatko Komadina, Mayor of the Municipality of Čavle Ivana Cvitan Polić, Deputy Mayor of the City of Čabar Ivana Lakota and Director of the Kvarner Tourist Board Irena Peršić Živadinov addressed the audience, expressing satisfaction with the excellent product that contributes to the development of the year-round tourist destination Kvarner, and successful collaborations of all project partners.
The interpretation plan, museological exhibition and content development for The Routes of the Frankopans project were created by Muze – a creative team for heritage interpretation, cultural tourism and management. Architects Penezić & Rogina and Filburg – studio for branding, design and communications were in charge of the visual identity and art exhibition.
Through the project, we have created numerous printed materials, a photomonography, a guide-booklet, picture books, souvenirs, etc., all of which will be available for purchase in interpretation centres.
