Behind us is a great week in which we had nice activities in the Frankopan Castle almost every day! In addition to the three-day educational workshop for interpreters, we received several groups of interesting visitors, and new groups are also already announced!
In the Frankopan Castle (Nova Kraljevica) we hosted the participants of the Meeting of the Adriatic County Institutes for Physical Planning, who got acquainted with the project, the Route and the story of the Frankopans, and also visited our Frankopan contents in the Castle, watching a movie and video in Multimedia hall.
The next day we were visited by the city administration of the City of Delnice, which decided to start its teambuilding by visiting as many as two Frankopan locations – Kraljevica and Bakar! Nova Kraljevica Castle was the first stop to get to know the Route and Frankopans, and they also visited the Visitor and Interpretation Centre with the theme of the Zrinski-Frankopan Conspiracy. We rounded it all off by watching the film “Riznice frankopanske baštine” (“Treasures of Frankopan Heritage”) and the video “Zavičaju, tebi” (“Homeland, to you”) in the new Multimedia Hall. In Bakar, they visited the Castle in Bakar and the Interpretation Centre where they learned about the influence of the Frankopan and Zrinski families on politics and the economy, and then continued their walk and discovered many other interesting things of the old town of Bakar.
