“Zavičaju, tebi” (“To you my homeland”), a ceremonial song of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, got a new outfit – the Frankopan one! On November 11, 2020, a promotion of the new video was held in Trsat Castle.
As part of The Routes of the Frankopans project, the song was recorded by Mia Negovetić. She played Ana Katarina Frankopan in the video, and acting student Petar Baljak played Petar Zrinski. The video was shot at the locations of the Cultural-tourist Route The Routes of the Frankopans.
Elvis Stanić gave a new arrangement of the song, whose lyrics and music are signed by Ante Pecotić. The five costumes worn by Mia Negovetić in the video were created by Juraj Zigman inspired by the Frankopan heritage. The director of the video is Artem Dushkin, and the director of photography is Mateo Jurčić from Lumiere production.
Cultural-tourist route The Routes of the Frankopans includes 17 castles and 3 sacral buildings in the area from Krk through Vinodol to Gorski Kotar. The video was shot at eight locations. In addition to the castles Drivenik, Ledenice, Krk, Stara Sušica, Severin na Kupi and Nova Kraljevica, a camera crew with the members from associations that inherit the history of the Frankopans also visited the Gomirje Monastery and the Franciscan Monastery Košljun.
The video was submitted for Porin (Croatian music award) in three categories: best video number, best female vocal performance and best arrangement.
The Routes of the Frankopans project is coming to an end. By February 1, 2021, interpretation centers will be opened in eight Frankopan castles, which will introduce visitors to Frankopan’s tangible and intangible heritage.

Given the coronavirus epidemic, the promotion of the video was held exclusively for media representatives, ie for a small number of people, adhering to strict epidemiological measures.
