The presentation of the project began on March 27, 2019 in Solin, at the 5th Congress of Historic Cities, with a presentation for participants in the fields of tourism, museums and culture. Also, four foreign trips took place in April with the aim of promoting the Frankopan route to the targeted public. On April 2, 2019, a presentation of Kvarner’s gastronomic, cultural and cultural offer was held in Essen, with an emphasis on touring Frankopan destinations, for 256 participants who responded to the invitation of I.D. Munich Riva Tours, with the help and cooperation of which this event was organized at the Funke Mediengruppe premises in Essen. In cooperation with partners, promoting the gastronomy of Istria and Kvarner, on April 4, 2019, presentation of the Route was held in Kursalon, Vienna, together with the Kvarner Tourist Board and the City of Opatija. The next station of Frankopans was Milan, on April 8, 2019, in cooperation with the renowned Mediaset, the Kvarner Tourist Board and the Croatian National Tourist Board in Milan, Casa Facile Design Lab, an evening event for about 300 guests, was held with a cooking show of Zijavica Restaurant from Moscenicka Draga and members of the association The Counts of Krk Frankopans. The story of the Frankopans, with a presentation of the whole range of health and outdoor offerings, fits in well with the theme of the Tempi Liberi fair, held from 25 to 28 April 2019 in Bolzano, Alto Adige (Südtirol). The fair specializes in offering products and services for active holidays, and has been visited by about 40000 visitors over the four days of the event. At the international conference “Sense and Sustainability”, held in Zagreb on May 8, 2019, a presentation was held as part of a program called “Mediterranean Cultural Routes”. Participants, archaeologists, museum staff and representatives of international cultural and tourism organizations, came from around 15 countries, including the United Kingdom, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland and Lebanon. The Vinistra Wine Fair was held in Poreč from 10 to 12 May 2019, and the Kvarner region was presented at the stand through the story of the Frankopans as the key element of the region’s history, but also of today’s culture. Although the fair is primarily devoted to wines and Istrian specialties, visitors at the Frankopan booth were interested in sharing their knowledge of the history and culture of the region. According to the organizers, the fair was visited by more than 12000 guests, and except from Croatia, visitors were from Slovenia, Italy, Austria, France, Great Britain, Sweden, China and Australia.
